The Artist
I am a retired accountant with a life long passion for the arts. My detailed and realistic style in painting has been fine-tuned since beginning grade school. Through the years, I have continued to take classes, read books, and scour the internet for any new tips and techniques I can find. My creativity is not limited to drawing and painting alone; I also decorate cakes, scrapbook, crochet, sew, and other various projects.
I am an avid animal lover and love to travel. Annual cruises and vacations provide many inspirational views and experiences that I try to translate onto canvas. Apparently this crafty gene runs in the family as my mother and daughter are equally as talented and are also great sources of inspiration for me.

The Assistant
Tessa is not your typical house cat. She came to us as a 5 week old baby and quickly stole our hearts. She is now 8 years old and has started assisting in daily household chores since she was 2. Once I retired, she has become my right hand kitty and attached to my hip. After we redecorated our house, Tessa decided we needed to paint.
She loves to rough house with Daddy, play fetch (yes, fetch), and take naps under the blanket. She follows me everywhere in the house and if she's not getting enough attention while we're in the studio, she politely lets me know by pawing at my elbow. I don't know what I'd do without her by my side.
